Hmm, you should revise the XXI article. It's sounds not satisfying due to german production weakness. From my sources the evolved this type with development failures and following 'on the job' repairs. I think that you should carefully review this part.

As a former member (SSBN620 '77-79 Blue)of the US Silent Service, I found this website absolutely spectacular. Not only is it a tribute to the sailors of the Germany's U-Boats, but in an indirect way, a tribute to those who fought Germany's most feared warriors of WWII. Make no mistake, the U-Boats were the enemy but also, fellow warriors of the deep. Great website.
