Great work first of all I have to say. I like submarines and specially, U boats. This site was a great help for me, to gain the basic knowledge I wanted. I knew nothing when I subscribed to this; but, thanks to this I learnt a lot.
thank you again.

I read "Iron Coffins"after reading your reports, and sailors were both brave and foolish to be submariners. I now have the u-Boat bug, and will visit Germany to see a U-Boat in real life. Thank you for this interest.

Amazing work! You also used Silent Hunter 3 to show some of the sub models. Well done on how close those VIIs ad IXs got right up to the US's door step especially during the "Second Happy Times". I am interested to find out that some subs got close to the Jersey Shore and NYC Harbor. That shows those Krauts were brave souls to sneak into waters because they are very well defended even today. Keep up the good work!

I am interested in suds, and I am building a 1:72 scale model of a GATO US sub and would like to build a 1:72 scale model of the type VIIC, but I am having a hard time finding one. If you have any ideas I would like to hear from anyone thanks for the info on German type VIIC subs.
